Having sourced a new owner for this unfinished project, GAS found its way into the ownership of a prominent director of a US auction house.

 

We then embarked on a light restoration of the running gear, a sympathetic repaint back to RAF blue-grey, the addition of correct interior trim, some original military parts and some drivetrain maintenance as per the owner's wishes..

A lovely low-mileage example, the aim was to make the Land Rover drive nicely with attention and care to setting it up correctly, ensuring that all finishes were 'mellow' and in keeping with its age.
