We've expanded!

We ran out of space. A good thing yes as we're busy but it was getting a little cramped in our workshop and we also wanted more from the space. Having previously built another wing on the side of the original building, the only way was up the hill. The new space of course is built with the future in mind, a heavily insulated roof and sustainable wool insulation in the walls being some of the extra measures, and all supported by the solar panels we installed early in 2024. This now has given us the dedicated space for our machine and fabrication area, a servicing area and an engine and gearbox area, whilst still allowing ample space to work on our long term recommissioning and restoration projects. We managed to secure part-funding for the extension from the UK government through the Rural England Prosperity Fund. Like any good project it's straight into use and working brilliantly.​​
